We are seeking an experienced marketing technology professional to own the data strategy
and data pipelines of our marketing automation platform. The ideal candidate has experience
managing data across marketing technology platforms, specifically marketing automation, and
has strong knowledge of the data required to bring email, push and other digital channels to
life. In this role, you will be responsible for being the subject matter expert on the data coming in
and out of Cordial, including product and customer data. You will be able to gauge feasibility on
future email and push campaigns, troubleshoot data anomalies and breakages, and provide
ongoing support for day-to-day platform data enhancements. You will mainly support our
customer engagement and marketing automation platform, Cordial (Email and Push), but you
would also have exposure to Tealium CDP. Your responsibilities expand across global markets, with marketing, technology, and digital operations teams being your key customer.
This role reports into the Senior Manager, Marketing Technology Data Strategy.
Responsibilities:
Be the subject matter expert on the data pipelines coming in and out of Cordial
Ensure data requirements and strategies were executed on properly and align with the
broader vision of the overall marketing technology data strategy across new email/push
programs
Work with marketing and digital operations partners to proof email and push campaigns
Partner with the Tealium CDP data platform owner to bring journey orchestration to life
through email and push channels
Work with technology teams to work out data anomalies or launch new data features
within Cordial
What Do You Need To Bring?
Deep understanding of the data required to run lifecycle marketing or customer journey
orchestrations, preferably with a retail client
Experience working with email and push automation platforms (Cordial, Iterable, Adobe
Responsys, Braze, etc.)
Working level knowledge of SQL
Experience working with CDPs (Tealium, Segment, etc.) a plus
Experience in the customer/CRM/identity resolution space is a plus
Robust collaboration skills, with demonstrated experience working cross-functionally
Confident working in a fast-moving environment with a willingness to make quick
decisions based on continuous prioritization and evolving needs
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent work experience
5 years in a data-focused marketing technology space, ideally in retail
3-5 years working directly with email/push platforms
Working level knowledge of SQL required
