Job Title: Special Assistant for the Persian Leadership Development Initiative

Purpose of the Job
The Special Assistant for the Persian Leadership Development Initiative (PLDI) is responsible for engaging with churches and organizations partnering with PLDI, managing all PLDI social media accounts, and supporting the Director and Administrative Assistant with course page management, student admission and registration, answering general inquiries, and other office tasks as needed.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Content Creation: Design and produce creative and original social media content for PLDI across multiple platforms.
Newsletter Management: Write and publish a digital newsletter for PLDI at least once a month.
Networking: Establish and maintain relationships with partner churches and organizations. Process donations, communicate updates, and handle donor applications and reports.
Office Support: Assist the Director and Administrative Assistant with various office tasks.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
Create and share engaging content on PLDI’s Instagram and other social media channels.
Develop and distribute a digital PLDI newsletter at least monthly.
Build and sustain relationships with partner churches and organizations.
Manage donations, provide updates, and oversee donor applications and reports.
Assist in the recruiting and application processes of Persian students.
Collaborate with adjuncts and professors to ensure courses are ready.
Coordinate with other campus offices to ensure student registration for courses.
Respond to messages in the inbox.
Maintain appropriate files, reports, and information for accreditation and trustee purposes.
Handle telephone inquiries and other requests for information about the Persian Programs.
Maintain general office order.
Assist the Director and Administrative Assistant with other clerical and administrative tasks as needed.

Passionate about theological education among Muslim Background Believers (MBBs).
Experienced with various social media platforms.

Proficient in academic writing.

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Knowledge of Persian culture and language is preferred but not required.

Working Conditions and Environment
Office hours: 8 am-5 pm (Mon-Thurs) and 8 am-4 pm (Fri).
