Job Overview:

The Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) is seeking an experienced healthcare professional to join our External Affairs Team. This position will play a crucial role in promoting and implementing the OhioRISE Program with a concentration on improving the lives of youth in custody. As a External Affairs Program Manager, your responsibilities will include:

educating, spreading awareness, and assisting in operationalizing the OhioRISE Program with external community stakeholders

developing policy and recommending program changes for the Youth in Custody Program

presenting to community stakeholders (e.g., meetings, conferences, events)

collaborating with OhioRISE team including state partner agencies, the OhioRISE plan, the Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health Center of Excellence, and others to perform stakeholder engagement activities

responding to OhioRISE inbox inquiries

leading the intersection of youth involved in the program and child protection

managing inquiries from youth and state partner agencies related to the child protection system

developing member materials for youth and families/caretakers to learn about the OhioRISE Program

staffing and providing feedback and updates to OhioRISE Member and Family Advisory Council and Youth Advisory Council

Completion of graduate core program in business, management or public administration, public health, health administration, social or behavioral science or public finance; 12 mos. exp. in the delivery of a health services program or health services project management (e.g., health care data analysis, health services contract management, health care market & financial expertise; health services program communication; health services budget development, HMO & hospital rate development, health services eligibility, health services data base analysis).

-Or 12 months experience has Medicaid Health Systems Specialist, 65293. Note\: education & experience is to be commensurate with approved position description on file.

-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment.
