We are pioneering an innovative digital community committed to sharing the power of God's love through integrated education, artistic expression, and spiritual formation.
The Faith Mentor Program connects experienced professionals, retirees, and qualified volunteers with college students seeking guidance in aligning their faith journey with their career aspirations. Through Christ-centered mentorship, mentors help students navigate academic, professional, and spiritual growth.
Program Objectives
- Foster meaningful mentor-mentee relationships grounded in Christian values
- Guide students in developing career plans that align with their faith and calling
- Provide spiritual support during critical career and life decisions
- Create a supportive community of faith-based professional development
Mentor Qualifications
Required:
- Strong Christian faith and active spiritual life
- Professional experience in any field (5+ years preferred)
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Commitment to servant leadership
- Access to reliable internet for remote meetings
Eligible Participants:
- Retired professionals
- Current professionals seeking volunteer opportunities
- Graduate students (for academic credit)
- Ministry leaders and faith community members
Time Commitment
- 5-10 hours per week
- Minimum 4-month commitment
- Flexible scheduling within business hours
- Weekly mentor-mentee meetings (1 hour)
- Bi-weekly team meetings with program founder (1 hour)
Core Responsibilities
1. **Individual Mentorship**
- Host weekly virtual meetings with assigned students
- Provide career guidance and professional networking support
- Offer prayer and spiritual encouragement
- Help students identify and pursue internships/job opportunities
2. **Faith Integration**
- Lead Bible study discussions relevant to career development
- Share personal testimonies of faith in professional settings
- Guide students in discovering their God-given purpose
- Incorporate Christian principles into goal-setting and decision-making
3. **Program Development**
- Collaborate with founder on program improvement
- Document mentorship best practices
- Create faith-based career development resources
- Participate in mentor training and development
