Overview: The Equipment Service Technician is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production equipment by performing repairs, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.

This role supports production efficiency, reliability-centered maintenance initiatives, and contributes to a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities: Perform equipment repairs and maintenance to minimize production downtime.

Respond promptly to breakdowns and production floor needs.

Conduct equipment inspections and implement preventive maintenance.

Participate in reliability-centered maintenance and team activities.

Track daily activities and follow up using the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) approach.

Conduct equipment inspections to ensure operational efficiency.

Track and report daily activities accurately.

Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

Support continuous improvement initiatives and processes.

Qualifications: Ability to be flexible and change work hours as needed.

Able to analyze problems and determine root causes.

Strong self-direction and drive.

Capability to develop a high level a high level of expertise/aptitude in mechanical and electrical areas.

Experience with CNC machines, roll formers, stamping machines and lifting equipment.

Experience with Fanuc controls, hydraulic, pneumatic and conveyor systems.

Experience with electronics troubleshooting.

Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting aptitude.

Basic Microsoft Office proficiency.

Effective communication (verbal and written). Flexibility to adjust work hours and shifts as needed.

Licensed electrician preferred.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Two-year technical degree Work Environment: This position operates in a manufacturing/production facility setting.

Candidates should be comfortable working in various weather conditions and adhering to safety standards in high-pressure environments.
