The Role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Production Manager to oversee our evening shift operations. Reporting to the Factory Manager, you will ensure manufacturing processes run efficiently, safely, and meet the highest quality standards. Occasionally, you may be required to work on the morning shift based on business needs.

Key Accountabilities

Ensure products are manufactured on time and meet high-quality standards.

Maintain exceptional Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Motivate, support, and guide employees to achieve peak performance.

Monitor and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), implementing improvements as needed.

Draft weekly labour schedules aligned with production demands.

Manage and adjust production schedules to meet customer needs.

Collaborate with departments such as HSE, Maintenance and Supply Chain.

Organize daily reviews to evaluate performance and identify improvements.

Actively participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives.

Skills and Experience Required

Minimum 5 years’ supervisory experience or 3 years in a management role within production, ideally in the food industry.

Strong knowledge of health and safety standards, quality systems, and HACCP.

Proficiency in Lean and other process improvement techniques.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Solid IT skills, including MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), TMS, and Seasons.

Exceptional organizational and time management skills.

Experience with supply chain management is an advantage.
