Tech Engineer Internship - Denver, CO

Whether you're new to tech or looking to diversify your early experience, this internship offers three distinct tracks to help you build meaningful skills and grow your portfolio.

We focus on practical, real-world tools and workflows that help solve problems for businesses of all sizes. Interns will receive mentorship, collaborate using modern platforms, and gain access to high-value cloud compute resources after completing the onboarding phase.

Track 1: Product Engineering & Automation (n8n & Integrations) Focus: Build workflow automations and backend logic using n8n, exploring its powerful integrations and real-world use cases.

Key Responsibilities:

* Create automation workflows using n8n, including triggers, logic flows, and third-party service actions

* Work with APIs, webhooks, and data manipulation using n8n’s visual editor

* Connect and integrate platforms commonly used for publishing and communication, such as WordPress, Ghost, Gmail, social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn), Google Sheets, Notion, and more

* Explore real-world use cases like lead generation, internal tools, data syncing, and reporting dashboards

* Collaborate with the lead engineer to brainstorm ideas and build proof-of-concept projects

* Learn to troubleshoot workflows, handle errors gracefully, and document solutions

Track 2: Website Development & CMS Management (WordPress & GhostCMS) Focus: Build, manage, and improve modern websites using WordPress, GhostCMS, and advanced page builders.

Key Responsibilities:

* Install and configure websites using WordPress and GhostCMS

* Use Breakdance (WordPress plugin) to design, build, and maintain dynamic websites

* Customize site appearance and functionality using HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript

* Optimize pages for responsiveness, accessibility, and performance

* Work with SEO plugins and tools to improve site visibility and rankings

* Assist in managing website content, updates, and troubleshooting

Track 3: Tech Research & Content Writing (Thought Leadership) Focus: Research current technologies and write high-quality technical content with mentorship.

Key Responsibilities:

* Research trending tools, frameworks, and automation platforms

* Write blog posts, thought leadership articles, and how-to guides under editorial guidance

* Tailor writing to a technical audience and contribute to publishing pipelines

* Learn and apply SEO and web writing best practices

* Participate in content planning and peer reviews

General Responsibilities (All Tracks):

* Meet regularly with your mentor to set goals and review progress

* Complete assigned tasks and practice projects between sessions

* Research and self-solve using public resources (Google, Reddit, Stack Overflow, AI tools, etc.)

* Manage your own time and meet deadlines consistently

* Use collaboration tools like Google Drive or Microsoft Office to share work

* Accept feedback constructively and show growth over time

Basic Qualifications:

* Have a passion for engineering, products, or a genuine interest in this role to learn

* Have your own computer to collaborate online

* Self-starter who knows how to manage their own schedule

* Can manage work on your own time, must make calls when requested and work actively to timeline

* Have access to Microsoft Office or Google Drive to collaborate

* Ability to receive well-considered and constructive criticism

* Ability to research and self-learn between sessions to self-solve

Helpful (But Not Required):

* Familiarity with n8n or other automation platforms like Zapier or Make.com

* Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress and Ghost, or visual builders like Breakdance

* Interest or experience in writing, SEO, or content marketing

* Understanding of technology, engineering, or IT services

* Basic eye for design, presentation, and layout

This internship does not provide any compensation.
