IT Security ANALYST

We are seeking a skilled IT Security Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safeguarding our organization's systems, data, and applications. This role requires a strong understanding of security principles, expertise in cloud platforms like AWS, and proficiency in programming languages such as Java and .NET, along with a solid grasp of SQL for database security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess network traffic, systems, and logs for security threats.

• Implement, manage, and maintain security controls across AWS environments.

• Collaborate with development teams to ensure secure coding practices in Java and .NET applications.

• Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits.

• Analyze security breaches and assist in the mitigation and reporting processes.

• Design and enforce security protocols, procedures, and standards.

• Utilize SQL to identify and resolve database security issues.

• Stay updated on the latest security trends, threats, and compliance requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in IT security or a related role.

• Strong knowledge of AWS security services (IAM, Security Groups,

KMS, CloudTrail, etc.).

• Proficiency in Java and .NET frameworks with a focus on secure development.

• Advanced SQL skills for database security management and analysis.

• Familiarity with cybersecurity tools (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM systems).

• Knowledge of compliance standards such as ISO 27001, GDPR, or HIPAA.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Relevant certifications like CISSP, CISM, CEH, or AWS Security Specialty are a plus.
