Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working MIG Welder for a company based in Louisa, VA. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for safely joining metal parts using a MIG welding process.

Pay Rate

$20.00-$24.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours

Monday through Friday, 700 am to 3 30 pm.

MIG Welder Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding operations to join metal parts as per engineering drawings and specifications.

• Set up welding equipment including selecting appropriate settings, adjusting voltage, wire speed, and gas flow for different materials and thicknesses.

• Inspect materials to ensure they meet quality standards and are suitable for welding.

• Interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and written or verbal instructions to determine the appropriate welding process and procedures.

MIG Welder Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience working with a variety of metals (steel, aluminum, stainless steel).

• Experience with other welding processes (TIG, stick).

• Previous experience as a MIG welder preferred.

• Commitment to adhering to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
