We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Assistant Sales Manager to support our sales team in achieving growth and market penetration in the medical device sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the healthcare industry, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for helping healthcare providers deliver better patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Sales Manager in developing and implementing sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
Support the sales team in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the healthcare sector.
Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and key decision-makers.
Conduct market research and analyze competitor activity to inform sales strategies.
Prepare and deliver presentations and product demonstrations to clients and stakeholders.
Provide training and support to sales representatives on product knowledge and sales techniques.
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
Monitor sales performance metrics and report on trends and areas for improvement.
Attend industry conferences and networking events to represent the company and build relationships.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in the medical device or healthcare industry.
Strong understanding of medical device regulations and compliance.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to travel as needed.
