About the Role
As a seasoned Marine Engineer, you have prior experience as a Mechanical Engineer / Naval Architect / Marine Engineer or similar and enjoy being in the field working alongside waterfront organisations. You’re technically minded, have a good understanding of engineering toolsets and experienced in SQEP assessments in a maintenance / sustainment environment.
You'll be working alongside our ETaP (Engineering Technology and Program Management) team on technical delegations and process development within the Marine Aus and NZ Programs. Your expertise with dockings solid background working with ships and or submarines will be vital to meet operational demands.
Located in Henderson, WA or SA with remote working and travel as required for the right candidate.
To be successful, you will bring:
Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain a Defence Security clearance
Bachelors Degree in Engineering disclipline (accredited under the Washington Accord)
Significant relevant experience in a maritime technical/engineering role (Naval, Marine, Mechanical)
A good understanding of applicable engineering toolsets (e.g. PLM or MRP systems, design, simulation and analysis software)
Working knowledge of Defence Engineering and maintenance policies and procedures - Preferred
