Acloche has a Grove City Emergency Vehicle Company seeking a TIG Welder!

Shift: Monday-Thursday, 5: 00a-3: 00p with overtime Fridays.

Pay: $19-22/hr based on exp

Primary Functions:

Must be proficient in all areas of department and all welding procedures as prescribed in AWS and ASME publications for TIG welding (GTAW).

Duties and Responsibilities:

Performs all and GTAW (TIG) welding procedures (all positions), including machine settings, bottles and necessary fittings.

Welding of stainless steel and aluminum, and set and maintain welding machine (tip, liner changes, etc.) and weld vertical, horizontal and overhead.

Inspect welds for cracks, burn through and weld spatter.

Welding of mild steel and aluminum where required.

Welding of mild steel and aluminum where required.

Grind and clean area where required.

Stay current in TPM and basic mechanical adjustments on all equipment as needed.

Reproduce all operations within acceptable quality and time standards.

Set work priorities to meet production goals as scheduled.

Follow hazardous waste disposal program and fire prevention procedures.

Keep equipment and working area clean.

Maintains all satellite and storage containers in a closed position unless adding or removing waste.

Familiar with Hazardous Waste Contingency Plan.

Knows spill response procedures and evacuation routes

Ensure that hazardous waste that is handled is placed into the proper container(s).

Experience:

Education and Experience:

Must possess knowledge of TIG welding machines.

Mechanically inclined with tape measurement experience.
