Khadamat Facilities Management LLC is a joint venture (JV) company formed to operate and provide Integrated Facilities Management Services to the new United Arab Emirates University in Al Ain.

Your Opportunity
Khadamat are looking for a Storeman who will be responsible for the routine administration and organisational aspects of the Khadamat infrastructure stores. He /She is responsible for the material control, distribution, receiving and timely procurement of the requested good or services. He should liaise will the operational departments regularly to seek advice on the stock levels required and plan the procurement on a pro-active basis. He /she is the custodian of the Commercial Manual of Khadamat and should strictly adhere to the established local work instructions and Mubadala Code of Conduct. He/she has the ability to perform a minimal procurement function based on the project requirement.
The ideal candidate should have good communication skills and able to understand the stock concepts, control and rotation.
This role is part of the Khadamat team and will be based in Al Ain, UAE.
Key Accountabilities
To have responsibility for the general operation of Stores including safety aspects
Strictly follow all relevant departmental procedures especially company stores procedures. Receives and inspects all incoming materials and reconciles with the Purchase Orders and Delivery note
Inventory high accuracy must be maintained during the weekly/quarterly/annual stock counts. Entering the inventory items in the MS Dynamics AX System and producing GRN Report
Arranging to keep the received materials in right racks with identifiable tagging system
Rejection of materials to suppliers and update in MS Dynamics AX System, if required
Identify critical stock level based on the past consumption records in co-ordination with operational departments
Monitoring and control of stock levels and re-ordering
Issuance of materials as per the Store Issuance and Return Form and entering the data into theMS Dynamics AX System
Receiving returns of materials and transferring of materials, if any. Enter these transactions in the AX Dynamics system
Manage the inventory database including the preparation of Purchase Request, RFQ & PO
Give proper advice to the Procurement department for negotiating with suppliers for optimumrates to procure quality materials
Follow-up with suppliers for quick and timely delivery of materials.
Specific Requirements
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position in UAE, preferably with a large organisation in the construction or maintenance industry working as Storekeeper or Warehouse assistant or equivalent
Bachelor’s degree preferably in supply chain, commerce, economics or equivalent
Any professional certification in Warehouse management or Supply Chain is an added advantage
Knowledge and experience in operating Electric Forklift will be highly advantageous
Extensive knowledge of construction or maintenance items is required
Familiar with all the construction related materials
Facilities Management industry experience is highly desired, but not essential
Computer literate with knowledge of MS Office is a must
Good command over the English Language
Understanding the stock concepts, control and rotation is a must.
