What you will do…
Act as project manager throughout all phases (planning, design and construction) of state-funded dam, canals, roadway and bridge improvement projects. Also serves as the ODNR Program Manager for the ODOT-ODNR Roadway Maintenance Program.
Monitor, evaluate and manage performance of professional and construction services to ensure proper alignment of project scope, quality, budget and schedule.
Provide technical support for the land-owning divisions, including urgent and routine site evaluations, development of inspection, operation and maintenance guidelines, and development of scopes of work for ODNR projects.
Provide oversight and assistance in the preparation, receipt, and recommendation of award for public bids.
Manage the procurement of professional services and negotiate professional design and construction services agreements and amendments.
Starting hourly pay of $41.23/hr with multiple pay increases over your first 6.5 years of service, with an end salary of $58.91/hr.
Certificate of registration as professional engineer issued by State Licensing Board AND 2 yrs. exp. as registered professional engineer of which 12 mos. was as Natural Resources Engineer 3, 85743 or 12 mos. equivalent related engineering experience.
