Head of Unit - Emergency

The Role

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Emergency Medicine Specialist with leadership experience to join as a Head of Unit, Emergency Department. This is a permanent Full Time position (24 hours per fortnight clinical component).

The Location

The largest centre in Western Victoria and the state’s fastest growing inland city.

The Hospital

A designated regional trauma centre serving a population of around 250 000 people. The Emergency Department has over 50 000 presentations per annum with a caseload comprising a broad mix of medicine with around 27% of presentations being paediatric.

The Requirements

Registration with AHPRA

Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills are essential for this role
