Accounts Payable Coordinator

LHH is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our client’s finance team on a 1-year contract. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with SAP accounting software and a strong understanding of accounts payable processes within the energy sector. This is a one-year contract role, that will pay between $22 and $28/hr. depending on experience. This role is 100% onsite in Dublin, OH.

Responsibilities:

Process and manage accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.

Verify and reconcile invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records in SAP.

Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.

Monitor accounts to ensure timely payments and resolve any discrepancies.

Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to address and resolve payment issues.

Assist with month-end closing activities and financial reporting.

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal controls.

Support audits by providing necessary documentation and information.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in the energy sector.

Proficiency in SAP accounting software is required.

Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and best practices.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Pay Details: $22.00 to $28.00 per hour
