Regional Reliability Engineer
**Required Industry Background: Wood, OSB, Plywood, Lumber, or other forestry industries.
SALARY Up to $175,000 + Bonus + Benefits + Travel Expenses
REGIONAL REMOTE POSITION WITH TRAVEL – Oregon
Travel Requirements: This will depend on your home-based location. You will be spending your time in the Northwestern Region. Position will require you to live in Oregon. Relocation Assistance is available if you do not live near one of their facilities. Travel is expected to be 25% to 50%.
We are recruiting a regional reliability engineer who can mentor and coach as they travel to different facilities! You’ll have a home and regional office and travel to our facilities in the northwestern USA. Since you’ll be mentoring & coaching reliability teams in the forestry industry, you’ll need at least 5 years of experience with equipment in the wood products manufacturing industry and the creation & implementation of reliability centered maintenance programs. You’ll be a hands-on engineer developing teams to handle the day-to-day reliability strategy!
While we have reliability programs in place, there is always room for improvement! Your responsibility will be to evaluate the existing programs and find ways to improve on them. Once you’ve devised new strategies, you’ll lead the implementation process by coaching each team at each facility.
Using Root Cause Analysis & Failure Modes & Effects Analysis, you’ll ensure teams are able to find the problems & optimize the preventative maintenance program. There will be tracking systems used, Bom’s to be created, safety & environmental issues to consider, and performance reports to give.
You’ll need to be a reliability pro, able to communicate with all levels of the organization, handle multiple projects at once, and travel to different sites.
To be considered for this Reliability Engineering position:
• At least 5 years’ experience in reliability centered maintenance program implementation
• Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional (CMRP) or other lubrication, vibration, and tomography certifications a bonus.
• Bachelors in Engineering Preferred. PE Certification a Plus.
• Working knowledge of equipment in the wood products manufacturing industry
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence change in others.
