Power BI Dashboard Developer

Job Description Summary:

SSA LLC is seeking a Power BI Dashboard Designer for our long-term client. They support DoD agencies in the DC Metro area. The selected candidate will assist client teams with the creation of customer driven dashboards. The candidate will also work with the project teams to refine data sources and data infrastructure.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Develop, design, and propose interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to lead data driven management.

Work with data and other analysts to address dashboard requirements through performing data analysis.

Create customized and intuitive user interfaces and dashboards that maximize data accessibility, consistency, integrity, accuracy, and integration and enhance the end customers’ ability to make data-driven decisions.

Analysis of data metrics to determine trends, thresholds, alerts, issues, problems, and recommendations.

Consult with the customer and working group to resolve any complex problems.

Perform data collection, processing, maintenance, management, extract/transform/load, archiving and recovery.

Develop and maintain documentation that articulates workflows with the organization’s Analytic Capability subdivision.

Attend meetings and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

3 years of developing data visualization dashboards and reports in a federal government environment.

3 year’s experience with MS Power BI

2+ years experience with Data Analytics tools

3-5 years experience in presenting and communicating the dashboards to project stakeholders.
