Job Purpose
Responsible for the Pre-Processing Authentication controls of transactions received at bank counters.
Key Accountabilities
Performing signature verification on documents submitted by the bank’s customers.
Call back verification to customers to establish the authenticity / genuineness of transactions.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Perform signature verification on documents submitted by the customers for processing different types of transactions.
Conduct call back to customers basis internal guidelines in order verify the authenticity and genuineness of various types of transactions received at the bank.
Required Experience
4-5 years of experience preferably in banking.
Must have handled signature verification, Transaction processing (e.g. Payments).
Knowledge and experience of Trade, Remittances, Lending transactions will be an advantage.
Education / Preferred Qualifications
Graduate in any discipline preferably Bachelor of Commerce (B. Com)
Core Competencies
Excellent communication skills
Fluency in English / Hindi languages
Ability to understand and interpret Board Resolutions of companies, Partnership Letters etc.
Basic knowledge of different types of banking transactions – Cash and Trade
Technical Competencies
Computer literate with sound knowledge in MS Office (Word / Excel etc)
Knowledge of and having undergone training in signature verification on documents will be an advantage.
Work Relationship
Good interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate with various internal stakeholders – Branch, Operations, Service Managers.
