Traffic Engineer

Selectek is looking for a Traffic Engineer to begin working with a great client of ours in Tysons, VA immediately. This candidate will be responsible for leading the preparation of traffic design projects: Including traffic signal, lighting, maintenance of traffic, detour, pavement marking and signing projects.

Required by Client

The ideal candidate will have a mix of knowledge, skills and experience including project management, public presentation, analytical and organizational skills.

B.S. degree in Civil Engineering, or related field.

Professional Engineer or able to obtain within 1yr of employment.

6 years of work experience in transportation engineering, traffic studies, and/or civil engineering.

AutoCAD Software and/or Microstation knowledge and experience.

Microsoft Office Suite

Must reside and be eligible to work in the United States

Preferred by Client

Knowledge of Highway Capacity Manual (HCM), Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD)

Traffic Design is a PLUS!

Pay Rate: $43/hr - $50/hr

Term: 6 months contract to hire

Location: Tysons, VA 22102
