Sr. Manager, Product Management - Card Loyalty Platform

The Capital One Loyalty team is seeking a Product Manager to help improve the features, quality, and resiliency of Capital One’s loyalty platform with a keen eye toward product market fit and technical modernity.

The Loyalty platform is an api first, micro-services based platform run on AWS that allows consumers to earn and redeem loyalty benefits, including points. The Loyalty platform is at the heart of Capital One’s value prop and drives significant competitive advantage. You will be on the cutting edge of our serverless platform journey as we explore bold new technologies and innovative capabilities that optimize customer experience and sustainably deliver upon our industry’s stringent performance requirements. From deeply understanding the Loyalty ecosystem to building and operating massive scale platforms that are highly resilient and performant, you will drive the organization towards a bright future.

Responsibilities include:

Lead a team of Product Managers across the product development lifecycle

Manage long term (12-18 month) roadmap and priorities across your team; develop innovative ideas and build actionable plans across Capital One’s technology ecosystem to achieve those ideas

Work across Technology/Engineer teams, Business segments, and operational teams to deliver on a bold and cohesive strategy for both our consumers and our internal stakeholders

Help drive a strong culture within the Loyalty team by contributing to team building, learning & development, and team engagement

Continuously improve internal processes across ideation, backlog creation, execution, and delivery

Team Player. You enjoy working with diverse people and driving the team toward a common goal. You are also able to coach others and be a mentor in product development.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or military experience

At least 5 years of experience in digital product management

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering

MBA or Master’s degree

3+ years of experience in Agile product management

Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products
