Are you a seasoned financial leader passionate about making a difference? A world-renowned social impact organization based in New York is seeking a dedicated Controller to join their dynamic team.

As their Controller, you'll oversee the accounting function for three entities, ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and strategic growth. This is a hybrid role, 3 days onsite

Key Responsibilities:

Lead monthly/year-end closing process

Manage financial statement audits

Oversee GAAP financial statement preparation

Ensure compliance with government regulations

Supervise a team of accounting professionals

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required, CPA strongly preferred

5+ years of accounting experience in a nonprofit or corporate setting

Strong GAAP knowledge and experience with Form 990

Proven leadership and supervisory skills

Salary: 215k to 245k plus benefits

Pluses: CPA or MBA
