We are looking for a new leader for our team in the role of:
Executive Director
Responsibilities:
Provide Direction and Leadership towards the Philosophy, Mission, Vision, and Strategic Plan
Overall Management of the Community Outreach Programming
Build and Mentor the Team to Success, through Support, Training and Empowerment
Foster Strong Relationships with Aligned Organizations
Represent the Organization’s Mission and Vision in the Community as the ‘Face of the Organization’
Positively Engage with the Staff, Board Members, Volunteers, Donors, and other Partners
Develop, Implement, and Monitor and Annual Operation Plans and Budgets
Incorporate best practices in HR Management to lead a Capable, Strong Team with a Positive Culture
Ensure the Facility Maintenance and Repairs are up to Code.
Fundraising & Grant Research/Writing
Additional Duties as Required by the Board
Requirements:
Understanding towards the Sensitive Nature of the Clientele served by the Organization
Respect for the Requirement of a High Level of Confidentiality
Professional, Ethical & Honest
Empathetic & caring towards those dealing with Trauma.
Experience in Team Building & Leading while Cultivating a Positive, Supportive Culture
Able to Manage Systems to Achieve Fundraising Goals, Strategic Planning and Budgeting
Excellent Communication Skills
Strong Computer Competency, with ability to work in MS Office and Sage Accounting Programs
Understanding of and Familiarity with Board Governance Structure
Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Social Services or Human Services considered an Asset.
We Offer
$70,000 – $75,000 Annual Salary
Benefits Package
Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm with occasional after-hours calls, and occasional after hour requirements for events & fundraisers
