Position Summary: The Project Manager Coordinator III will provide advanced support in coordinating and managing large-scale industrial projects from conception through completion.
This position focuses on ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while working in a dynamic industrial environment.
The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills to help manage teams, allocate resources, and monitor project performance.
Key Responsibilities: * Project Planning and Coordination: Assist the Project Manager in developing project scopes, objectives, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements in an industrial setting.
* Resource Allocation: Coordinate with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, procurement, etc.) to allocate resources efficiently, ensuring smooth project execution.
* Scheduling and Timeline Management: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, track progress, and communicate changes to stakeholders to keep projects on track.
* Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and assist in forecasting and financial reporting to ensure projects remain within budget constraints.
* Documentation and Reporting: Prepare project reports, meeting minutes, and progress updates for both internal and external stakeholders.
Maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and technical documents.
* Risk Management: Identify potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and communicate risk assessments to the project manager and team.
* Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact between project teams, contractors, and clients, ensuring effective communication across all parties.
* Quality Control: Ensure that all projects comply with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies in the industrial environment.
* Continuous Improvement: Analyze project performance to identify opportunities for improving efficiency and effectiveness in future projects.
Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
* 5+ years of experience in project coordination or management, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
* Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, etc.). * Experience with industrial equipment, processes, and safety protocols.
* Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent). * Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and work collaboratively with diverse teams.
* Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a focus on meeting deadlines.
* Experience managing project budgets and resource planning.
* PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is preferred.
