Description of the Role:

The Personal Care Aide (PCA, NA, CNA) position at Caremed - Richmond - Henrico is a crucial role within our organization that involves providing essential care and support to our clients. As a Personal Care Aide, you will be responsible for assisting individuals with daily tasks and activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being, while remaining in their home.

Responsibilities:

Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.

Support clients in their mobility and assist with transfers, as needed.

Help clients with meal preparation and feeding, following their dietary needs and restrictions.

Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations with clients.

Assist in light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up living areas and doing laundry.

Observe and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate staff.

Requirements:

Valid certification as a PCA, NA, or CNA.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work with empathy, compassion, and patience.

Capability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize accordingly.

Physical strength and stamina for assisting clients with mobility and physical tasks.
