Job Summary
As the Cabinet Maker for Operations and Maintenance Department, you will:
Build and repair cabinets, doors, windows, furniture, counter tops, laminate projects, build forms, jigs and templates.
Interpret blueprints, sketches and verbal descriptions.
Draw basic blueprints from customer descriptions.
Proficiently use hand and power tools.
Maintain material prices and accurately estimate projects for customers.
Assist inventory and material.
Perform carpentry duties as needed and assist crew chief with coordinating projects and appropriate ways to complete assignments.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma/GED is required.
Three years’ experience with cabinet fabrication, repair and installation.
Skills Needed:
Strong oral and written communication skills required.
Mathematical calculation skills necessary.
Computer skills/familiarity with word processor and spreadsheets required.
Able to utilize electronic procurement system.
Ability to lift and carry 50 to 80 lbs. frequently, and up to 100 lbs. or more occasionally required.
Must be able to climb ladders and scaffolds and work from height up to 100 feet.
Ability to work under a variety of conditions, such as confined space (tunnels, pits), heights and hot/cold conditions.
Valid driver's License required.
