Manager, IT Security Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY - This position is based in Indonesia, Philippines & Cambodia

We are seeking an IT Security Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the technical defense of our organization’s IT infrastructure. This position is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security events and threats across the network, applications, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.

The IT Security Manager will be the primary security Point of Contact for the Asia-Pacific region and will work closely with the Global IT Security & Compliance, Infrastructure, and ITSM teams to implement and maintain robust security measures, perform regular vulnerability assessments, advise on systems and application-level security configurations and ensure that all security protocols and controls are up to date and effective stance through policy, architecture and training processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as the primary IT security Point of Contact for the Asia-Pacific region.

Continuously monitor and analyze logs, and security alerts to detect potential threats and vulnerabilities.

Respond to security incidents by investigating, analyzing, and mitigating threats in real time.

Collaborate with the IT SecOps and Compliance Directors and other IT teams to develop and refine incident response protocols.

Conduct regular vulnerability scans and assessments to identify and address security weaknesses.

Analyze the results of vulnerability assessments and work with system administrators to remediate identified risks.

Manage and optimize security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint protection solutions.

Implement and maintain security information and event management (SIEM) systems to aggregate and analyze security data.

Monitor and enforce access control policies, ensuring that users have the necessary and least privileged access.

Assist in the enforcement of security policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Prepare and maintain documentation related to security processes, incidents, and compliance activities.

Create technical documentation and guidelines to educate staff on secure practices and emerging threats.

Contribute to the development and enforcement of security and compliance policies and procedures.

Provide security training and awareness programs to ensure compliance across the region.

Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Position may require some travel.

This position follows a hybrid work structure, working some days from the office and some remotely. Guidance will be shared during the interview process.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

Bachelor’s degree in information security, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience, plus 4 to 6 years of professional experience.

Ability to analyze complex security data and identify patterns or anomalies.

Proactive in identifying security risks and developing solutions.

Effective in conveying technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Strong understanding of network protocols, email, and endpoint security architecture.

Experience with security monitoring tools, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.

Proficiency in conducting vulnerability assessments and managing remediation efforts.

Familiarity with scripting and automation for security tasks (e.g. PowerShell, KQL)

Excellent organizational and communication skills (both oral and written).

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Highly self-motivated and directed.

Keen attention to detail.

Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

Exceptional customer service orientation.

Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Preferred

Proficiency in Microsoft Sentinel, CrowdStrike, Panorama, Cisco Meraki, Umbrella, ServiceDesk Plus,NinjaOne, and Microsoft Defender is a strong plus.

Any of the following certifications CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), GIACSecurity Essentials (GSEC), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) is a strong plus.
