Master Journeyman Auto Technician

Landers Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Little Rock, Arkansas is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Journeyman Auto Technician to join our team. This is a full-time position with potential for growth and a starting bonus of up to $2000. Our dealership is family-owned and operated, providing a supportive and team-oriented work environment. Responsibilities:

- Perform skilled mechanical work on vehicles, including diagnostic testing, maintenance, and repairs

- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex vehicle issues using various tools and equipment

- Perform routine services and preventative maintenance on various makes and models of vehicles

- Inspect and test vehicles to identify any potential future problems

- Document all work performed and communicate with service advisors and customers as needed

- Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with latest automotive technology and advancements

- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

- Maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency without compromising quality of work

Requirements:

- High school diploma or GED required; vocational or trade school certification preferred

- Valid driver's license with clean driving record

- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an automotive technician

- Current ASE certifications preferred

- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

- Strong communication and customer service skills

- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
