Sr AV Technician

Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Sr AV Technician to join our integration business unit.

Primary Responsibilities:

Communicate scope of work, project timeline, project design, and budget for small to medium projects to management and client.

Accountable for the successful completion of project to include: Timely results, Quality of work and Customer satisfaction (project closeout)

Assemble and install small to medium low voltage systems with minimal guidance

Troubleshoot complex systems, identify problems, make effort to find solution on own, request assistance if necessary

Coordinate with Project Manager or Lead Technician to direct team of technicians to meet project requirements

Ensure materials are available at job site

Ensure job site is cleaned daily

Basic Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED

3 - 4 years' experience in a similar position

Able to use hand tools and test equipment

Expanded knowledge of electrical circuitry and network principles

Read/understand technical drawings, programming and installation guides

Arrive for work as directed

Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with clients, management and peers. Ability to make presentations to management, clients, others as directed

Advanced computer skills and software knowledge to include MS Office (Excel, work, Powerpoint, Outlook) and other company software

Develop goals, prioritize and organize tasks to accomplish the project

Anticipate and resolve problem/changes; seek assistance as required

Function as team leader in specific area of expertise

Must be able to travel overnight

Must be available for On-Call work

Valid driver license and acceptable driving record

Preferred Qualifications:

AVIXA CTS certification
