Integrated Paid Media Strategist

Location: Boston MA, Newburyport MA, Denver CO

(Hybrid: In office Mon-Thurs, Remote – Fri)

We’re currently looking for a dynamic, results-focused Integrated Paid Media Strategist to join our MatterMKTG Digital Marketing team based in our Boston or Newburyport, MA or Denver, CO office, working with clients across the agency. The Media Strategist will be responsible for implementation of best-in-class media programs that maximize our client’s success.

Here’s the mix of what you’ll be doing day to day:

Translating client business goals into strategic paid media campaigns by recommending KPIs, audiences, formats, tactics, platforms, publishers, and projecting performance

Leading set up, execution, optimizations and reporting for paid media campaigns across Programmatic, Display, Meta, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest and traditional media formats

Creating monthly and/or quarterly reports for clients on goals and benchmarks to inform future strategies, working alongside the Analytics team to showcase results that have actionable plan

Overseeing budgeting recommendations and implementation for clients

Assist with campaign trafficking, tagging and billing, including trafficking programmatic campaigns in CM360

Work closely with publishers and media partners to negotiate media buys and stay up to date on new product offerings

Prepare and maintain key media buying documents such as authorizations, orders, traffic sheets, and flowcharts

Providing real-time competitive auditing, monitoring, and planning for key clients

Support in researching, preparing and pitching new business opportunities

Serving as a leader and expert in non-search paid media planning/buying, representing the Matter MKTG team internally and externally

Along with creativity, drive and self-motivation, your previous experience and attributes will include:

4+ years experience developing successful, measurable integrated paid media programs for multiple clients, both B2B and B2C

Knowledge and expertise of paid social media channels including but not limited to Meta, LinkedIn, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest, YouTube, etc. and other paid media channels including programmatic, OOH, print, radio, and TV

Strong analytical and creative thinking skills with the ability to generate insights, understand competitive analysis, and conduct market assessments

Stay organized in tracking various media buys, and accurately reflecting those within the billing process

Demonstrate knowledge of paid advertising across media channels; stays current on any changes in paid advertising and propose new format/partnership ideas for clients

Experience creating and implementing solid paid media strategies, goal-setting and reporting

Experience working with larger cross-functional marketing teams, implementing campaigns in B2C and B2B

Track record of delivering results for clients; raising brand awareness, driving demand and creating creative high-impact connections with customers

A desire to work in a fast-moving, dynamic, team-oriented environment with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

A creative and results-oriented approach to all work that is produced

Exceptional verbal and presentation skills

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant business experience

Compensation: The pay range for this role is between $65,000-$75,000 based on experience.
