Primary Technology/skills:

Automation Testing [Selenium+Java]

Specific Skills:

Having 8 years of experience in Test Automation - Selenium

Minimum 8 years of hands-on automation coding experience (Preferably using Webdriver IO with Java)

Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in API Automation (Preferably Axios)

Minimum 6 months of hands-on experience in Device automation

Excellent communication (written & verbal), and presentation skills with a positive attitude to engage with stakeholders

Design, create and maintain Automated Test Frameworks

Integrate tests in CI/CD pipeline, establish a continuous build and test cycle.

Establish processes and toolsets to maintain automation scripts and generate regular test reports

Develop high-quality automation test engineering principles, test strategies, and best practices.

Experience in Agile Scrum methodologies, in-sprint automation

Experience/Knowledge of Jira, BDD Cucumber

Experience/Knowledge of basic SQL queries

Other Nice to have skills / experience:

Retail Domain Experience

Experience in API Automation

Experience in Mobile (iOS and Android) test automation using Appium

Building a new test automation framework from scratch

Around 6 months to 1 year (Max) experience in Manual Testing

Experienced in multiple automation tools or programming languages

Details of duties to be performed:

Should be able to work independently on test automation tasks

Should be able to provide automation solutions by designing automation frameworks based on the technology and business scenarios

Should be able to design, develop and execute the test automation scripts

Should be ready to learn and create POC scripts with new automation tools/technologies

Should be able to debug to resolve or provide solutions for issues faced in existing frameworks

Should be able to estimate automation effort and return on investment

Should be able to closely work with client stakeholders to drive the sprint and release ceremonies

Should be able to work in client location in a client facing role.

Understanding the requirements by interacting with client and update offshore team on a day-to-day basis.

Should be able to bridge the team in case of any domain, application knowledge or clarifications.

Should be able to build good rapport with the team and the stakeholders
