Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential duties and responsibilities include the following.
Inspect in-process product for conformity to blueprints.
Inspect finished product to Customer requirements.
Document inspection Results.
Update and maintain Quality procedures and records.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and/or Experience
Required:
Experience with reading (understanding / interpreting) manufacturing prints (drawings / blueprints).
Experience with measuring parts.
Experience with measuring tools (caliper, micrometer, height gauge, etc.)
Worked in a manufacturing environment (sheet metal, welding, etc.)
High school diploma or equivalent
3 to 5 years’ experience in quality inspection role
Strong communication, problem solving ability, and understanding of manufacturing processes.
Computer experience.
Strong Experience with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Metal fabrication experience
Experience with ISO 9000 standard and procedures
2 to 3 years’ experience with Statistical Process Control
Preferred
Certified AS9100 Internal Quality Auditor
Black Belt/Green Belt in Six Sigma Processing
Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
