Shipping and Receiving - New

About the Role:

Personnel Services Unlimited is hiring for the Shipping Department for a local Shelby, NC company. We are looking for candidates with shipping skills, computer proficiency, and forklift experience is a plus.

This role is for the 1st shift, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, and Fridays from 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities include:

Process and prepare shipments for distribution.

Handle receiving tasks, including inspecting and documenting incoming shipments.

Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.

Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments using computerized systems.

Ensure all shipments are packed and labeled correctly according to company standards.

Coordinate with other departments to manage inventory levels and order fulfillment.

Job Skills and Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED.

Previous experience in shipping and receiving or a similar warehouse environment.

Proficiency in using computer systems for inventory and shipping documentation.

Forklift experience is a plus.

Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
