Legal Billing Specialist

I am currently working with a law firm that is seeking a Billing Specialist. This is a great position for someone with strong organization skills, a bookkeeping background and prior billing experience.

Background:

Performs monthly billing activities, reporting, and direct contact with insurance companies and clients

Ensures timeliness, accuracy, and acceptance of invoices. Follow up with billers, insurance companies and clients to resolve billing issues and ensure invoices are approved and billed

Maintain electronic billing files and time & billing software

Understanding of general accounting principles as they apply to Billings and A/R

Prior law firm experience is required

Bachelor's degree preferred
