During the program, you will work alongside the operations team to gain in-depth exposure to the trading desks and various business areas at Susquehanna. Your rotations, which may include Trade Operations, Financial Operations, Trade Support, and Compliance, are designed to provide insight into how Susquehanna is structured. During your rotations, you will be given daily responsibilities and project work designed to familiarize you with daily business operations and the flow of information that accountants record in the general ledger. In addition to rotations, the program includes classroom training sessions focused on developing company-specific knowledge, technical skills, and business effectiveness skills.

Throughout the program, you will develop a network of relationships with colleagues across the firm, which will be an invaluable resource during your career at Susquehanna. You will be mentored by senior members of Susquehanna's accounting and operations teams. Your mentors will work with you to guide your development process. At the end of your rotations, you will be expected to leverage your diverse skill set and knowledge of Susquehanna's business to maximize your impact as a member of our accounting team.

Once you complete the program and are placed in accounting, you will build on your existing knowledge of accounting while learning more about the daily operations of the business lines you support. You will have full ownership of the preparation and reconciliation of financial statements and general ledgers for your entities, including monthly and annual consolidated financial and regulatory reporting. You will also be expected to develop an in-depth knowledge of the relevant accounting rules and policies as they pertain to the entities for which you are responsible. You will manage or assist with various financial, regulatory and internal audits for your business areas while also working closely with our tax team to provide them with related tax filing support.
