SUMMARY: Management Business Solutions is seeking a Marketing & Communication Coordinator for its client in Grand Rapids, MI. The person will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of comprehensive communication strategies. This role involves managing social media, creating promotional content, maintaining websites, coordinating events, and handling media relations. This is a temporary position for 6-12 months.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and execute communication strategies for the department.

Manage social media platforms; create content, moderate comments, and respond to massages.

Design promotional materials using Adobe Creative Suite and maintain websites.

Oversee communications for the department including planning, media relations, and project management.

Conduct surveys and report on programs and events.

Assist in event coordination, preparing presentations, and media relations.

Handle public inquiries, media relations, and public information programs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or any related field.

2+ years of experience in Marketing Communications.

Strong knowledge of marketing communications, media relations, and project management.

Proficient in graphic design software and content management systems.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
