Our Client in the automotive industry based in Durban is seeking a Logistics Team leader that will will ensure that the day-to-day administrative and logistical functions are provided in accordance customer delivery requirements and in accordance with standard operating procedures. The logistics Team Leader will coordinate the activities of the Logistics Team Members to ensure efficient operations and timely shipments.
MatricÂ
Diploma in Logistics or supply chain related field
3-8 years' experience in the automative space
Â
Good Knowledge of both Inbound and outbound logistics best practices
Forklift licence is an added advantage
Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure/cost of poor quality
An understanding of Employee relations knowledge
Knowledge of Microsoft applications
Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 and 14001, ITAF 16949
Familiar with safety protocols and regulatory requirements in a manufacturing environment, including knowledge of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and equipment operation licenses.
High level of motivation, optimistic and action orientated
Is self-aware, resilient, and open to change
