Corporate Associate Attorney- M&A

One of our clients is currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Corporate M&A Associate Attorney to join our esteemed legal team. As a Corporate M&A Associate Attorney, you will have the opportunity to work on complex corporate transactions and provide legal support in the areas of mergers and acquisitions.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in due diligence investigations and drafting of legal documents for M&A transactions

- Conduct legal research and analysis to support transactional matters

- Collaborate with clients, other attorneys, and professionals to ensure successful completion of transactions

- Provide legal advice on corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory matters

- Review and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents

- Stay updated with relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends

- Licensed to practice in Maryland required, DC and VA licessure are a plus

Requirements:

- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

- Admission to the state bar association

- 2-4 years of experience in corporate law, with a focus on M&A transactions

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
