Ride-on mower operator

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Ride Mower Operator to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to mow grass verges and open spaces across Stockport, including areas such as Bredbury, Romiley, Reddish, and the Heatons.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a John Deere 1580 ride mower, or similar equipment, to maintain grass verges and open spaces.

Ensure the equipment is used safely and effectively.

Conduct routine checks and maintenance on the mower.

Adhere to the mowing schedules and ensure all areas are maintained to a high standard.

Requirements:

Valid driver's licence, minimum B1 Licence.

Experience operating ride mowers, preferably on golf courses or similar environments (e.g., triple mowers).

Good knowledge of Stockport and the specific areas covered is advantageous.

Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 6.30am to 2.30pm.

Potential for additional hours as required.

Pay Rate:

£12.59 per hour
