Summary

As the Privacy and Cybersecurity Compliance Senior Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring NVR’s cybersecurity program and data privacy practices comply with relevant laws, regulations, industry standards, and internal policies. You will lead the coordination of all third-party examinations and external audits of NVR’s privacy and cybersecurity programs and practices. Working with the CIO, CFO and CISO, you will lead NVR’s IT risk assessment and compliance programs for federal and state cybersecurity requirements and regulations and manage NVR’s IT risk register.

Key Job Responsibilities

Lead the monitoring and analysis of the regulatory landscape related to cybersecurity, data privacy, technology standards, and mortgage industry requirements.

Define and manage information security and IT control frameworks supporting regulatory and compliance objectives.

Collaborate with IT management, regulatory compliance, business unit leadership, internal audit, and legal counsel to interpret requirements, develop actionable controls, communicate the impacts of regulatory changes, and lead compliance activities.

Develop and execute training programs to educate management and employees on policy requirements and IT compliance best practices.

Lead control reviews, risk assessments and assurance activities to identify gaps in procedures, systems, and practices. Oversee testing of IT controls to validate compliance and effectiveness. Collaborate with IT management to prioritize and address gaps for continued compliance.

Track, document, respond and coordinate regulatory audits related to IT systems and information security. Manage documentation of identified compliance issues, corrective actions, and follow-ups. Provide assessment and recommendations for senior management on company's overall compliance posture.

Job Qualifications

8+ years of experience in risk management, audit, information security controls, and/or security risk management within a large enterprise.

Proven leader with significant experience influencing, building relationships and interfacing with senior executives.

Exposure to information technology or, at minimum, a demonstrated aptitude to understand IT processes, policies, controls and frameworks.

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Management, Cybersecurity or related field.

Researching, documenting, and staying on top of complex regulations and standards.

Translating regulatory and industry requirements into actionable tasks, policies, and procedures.

Communicating well both in writing and verbally with teammates, peers, and leadership.

Highly desired (but not required) experience:

Demonstrated experience with cybersecurity, information technology, data privacy or mortgage industry regulations and/or audits.

Strong working knowledge of IT and Information security frameworks, IT systems, applications controls, policies, and compliance best practices.

Firsthand experience with conducting IT assurance activities, privacy assessments and risk assessments.

MBA or MS Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT Management, or equivalent work experience.
