Job Responsibilities:
Review, analyze, and interpret technical and administrative requirements provided in Sources Sought, RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs to gain a thorough understanding of the objectives of each solicitation.
Disseminate and create Requirements and Compliance matrixes.
Develop and integrate win themes, discriminators, and key success factors for responses
Make recommendations on how best to respond to the RFP meeting or exceeding the customer's requirements
Write, edit, and rewrite technical sections; maintains document configuration management and control
Conceptualize clear, informative technical graphics.
Ensure RFP uniformity and that all format specifications have been followed and meets all proposal deadlines
Improve the readability and clarity of text and minimize clich s.
Minimize style differences from multiple authors and contributors
Consolidate multiple inputs to assure "one voice" consistency.
Creates style manuals and acronym lists that are customized for each proposal effort
Ensure the proper contextual integrity of each completed proposal section by reviewing edits with the respective SME/contributor
Assist in the creation of marketing materials, handouts, presentations, and white papers.
Skills Required:
Technical Writing & Editing supporting Business Development including Proposals, Responses to Sources Sought, RFI, RFQ, RFP, development of Offering and Marketing literature primarily supporting the Public Sector, Federal engagements.
Experience writing/editing proposal responses and a Technical understanding of IT products and services, including Health IT, mobile, cloud, data management and utilization, IT Infrastructure, application development, and system and application support services.
Experience in Proposal Management and managing proposal volumes preferred
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, and 5-7 years of overall experience, or 3-5 years of proposal specific experience, Shipley Method preferred
Experience with governmental technical proposal development and processes is preferred, experience with IV&V and/or QA proposal development is a plus
Must be able to work independently while leading and supporting remote teams.
Excellent communication skills and extensive proposal writing and editing experience
Working knowledge of MS Office Suite applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Project)
Familiarity with select Adobe software, such as Acrobat, Illustrator, and Photoshop
Occasional work-from-home is possible
