HDR is hiring a Drawing Control Specialist for our Construction Services Group in South Florida.

Primary Responsibilities

Maintain drawing control system requirements in coordination with clients, management, subcontractors, and staff

Outline and prioritize operations guidelines and deadlines of the drawing control process

Maintain and oversee the receipt of emails and incoming drawings and files and all correspondence for project-related activities

Create and maintain record logs to supervise, track and issue drawings and ensure they remain within regulations

Provide necessary assistance to the Project Manager on documentation

Oversee and audit permits

Supervise timely distribution of drawings and execution of procedures

Coordinate with clients on provision and revision of drawings

File master drawings and support project on various levels

Perform other duties as needed

Guide data/document processing, systems analysis, and programming

Maintain document control system requirements in coordination with clients, management, subcontractors, and staff

Outline and prioritize operations guidelines and deadlines of the document control process

Maintain and oversee the receipt of emails and incoming files and all correspondence for project-related activities

Create and maintain record logs to supervise, track and issue documents and ensure they remain within regulations

Provide necessary assistance to the Project Manager on documentation

Oversee and audit accuracy through the collation of libraries and filing systems

Supervise timely distribution of documents and execution of procedures

Coordinate with clients on provision and revision of documentation

File master documents and support project on various levels

Perform other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications (one or more): CDT, CACM, CBCS, ASQ, CCS, MOS, CSCP, CQA, CDS

Bachelor's degree

Experience with compliance with Federal, State and Local record management regulations

Required Qualifications

Associate's degree in a related field

A minimum of 2 years in document control

Experience with Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS)

Advanced Skills with MS Office applications Word, Excel, Access, Adobe Acrobat
