Job Summary:

Responsible for the development and management of data enablement for specialty reporting for all stakeholders and business partners. Provides leadership and direction for pharma, payer, operations, finance, clinical and other reporting required to enable specialty programs. Provides oversight for the development, implementation and execution of systems, programs and processes driving the company's business objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

Manages team accountable for daily operations. Responsible for delivering all Pharma contractual reporting to manufacturers within required time frame. This includes working with cross functional teams to create dispense, status, inventory and other reports that are contractually required. This team is responsible for ensuring data accuracy and de-identification of required data fields to ensure compliance with Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) components of HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability).

Oversees the creation and analysis of data to support Pharma and Payer Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR). This includes reviewing data with internal stakeholders and the participation in QBR meetings with external clients.

Provides directional oversight for the maintenance and enhancement of pharma and payer portals/dashboards. This includes the preparation of Quarterly Business Reviews data and data analysis for both Pharma and Payer. The team will facilitate client training for both Payer and Pharma partners that have access to these dashboards.

Oversees team responsible for calculating all variable fees supplied to accounting to support monthly and quarterly billing of contracted services for Pharma. This includes working with cross-functional teams to help resolve incorrect or overdue invoices.

Responsible for overseeing the team that monitors the submission of tickets to run reports, provide analysis, creates and update Business Requirements Documentation (BRD) for reporting requests that come in from stakeholder across the Specialty organization.

Oversees team that supports the review of Request for Proposals (RFPs) and/or Request for Information (RFIs) and implementation for both Pharma and Payer.

Oversees collaboration with cross functional stakeholders to serve as an active Subject-matter Expert (SME) for data governance across the Walgreens Enterprise. Counsels key stakeholders on areas of expertise. Partners cross-functionally to translate and define business needs for area of responsibility to execute against. Makes recommendations for the formulation of the strategies and operating plans of the specified area of responsibility, then, based on prevailing conditions executes or adjusts the operating plans.

Works with external vendors and third parties to develop and maintain positive relationships. Builds and enhances internal and external partnerships.

Establishes operational and quality objectives and develop/oversees operating plans for responsibility.

Oversees and directs the work of managers, senior managers and their subordinates. Obtains and allocates resources to meet operating plans. Ensures the ongoing training and development of direct reports.

Develops and mentors’ staff through on-boarding, open communication, training and development opportunities and performance management processes; builds and maintains employee morale and motivation; ensures the team is appropriately staffed with required competencies; fosters a diverse and inclusive workplace.

External Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and at least 6 years of experience in related field OR High School Diploma / GED and at least 9 years of experience in related field.

At least 2 years of experience establishing and maintaining key relationships with internal (peers, business partners and leadership) and external partners (business community, clients and vendors) within a matrix organization to develop strategies that meet department goals within budget and timelines.

Experience developing strategic initiatives which align with business goals.

Experience identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.

Experience leading cross-functional teams.

Experience communicating and interacting with executive level leadership both internally and to client organizations.

Experience managing client-facing programs.

At least 2 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace.

At least 3 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership and/or cross-functional team leadership.

Willing to travel up to/at least 15% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science or Information Systems.

Master’s degree / MBA.

Experience with advanced coding languages (e.g., SAS, SQL, C++, etc.).

Experience with data extraction, data mining, data acquisition, data profiling, data warehouse management, and statistical concepts.

Experience with system administration (e.g., PROS, Vendavo, Vistaar, Salesforce.com, SharePoint, Wikis, etc.).
