The ideal candidate for this position will work with the Response and Recovery; Response Directorate Operations; Division National Watch Center and will have a complete understanding of the mission of emergency management from the operational level and can adapt to a changing working environment.

Duties

What will I do in this position if hired?

In this position, you will Serve as an expert on emergency response policy issues, providing technical advice and guidance to professional staff. Typical assignments include:

Processing, displaying, and disseminating information in a variety of methods, to include reports, presentations, charts, graphs, displays, maps, and email.

Performing as a spokesperson or expert at meetings, committees and working groups.

Coordinating inter-and intra-agency efforts and supporting long-term, strategic adaptive efforts to ensure situational awareness and a common operating picture are known at all times.

Assisting the Watch Officer(s) in ensuring all assigned analysts are trained in assigned duties.
