Electrical Equipment Company (EECO), a full line wholesale electrical distributor with expertise in industrial automation, provides a combination of capabilities including onsite assessments performance evaluations, data driven recommendations, repair options, and supply chain optimization. We are seeking an experienced Services Manager responsible for the delivery of our existing services and building out new capabilities. The ideal candidate for this role will be based in Central Virginia.

Position Summary

The Service Manager will lead a team to deliver insourced and outsourced solutions to industrial and OEM's. This position will implement a business strategy, collaborating with suppliers, service providers, and internal teams, to profitably deliver and expand site support to include parts, repairs, training, engineered services, startups, support contracts, and EECO delivered services. Supporting all EECO locations, the scope of responsibilities includes leadership, personnel development, capability development, service delivery to include quality and consistency for all delivered services. Beyond the ownership of the current services offering, in line with corporate objectives, this position will have responsibility for design, build and implementation of new service capabilities.

Responsibilities include:

Developing and executing an annual business plan, defining financial goals and business objectives consistent with corporate objectives.

Optimizing organizational structure, third party services, and technology for in-sourced and out-sourced functions; focusing on the customer experience.

Staffing, training, and development of the Service Team.

Define measures of success (KPI's) for each delivered service

Meet or exceed all service KPI's related to: Engineering Service, Repairs, Training, Support Contracts, ASP's, and Custom Panel Program

Ideal candidate will have or demonstrate:

Self-starter and a continuous learner with a proven track record of building business and leading teams.

Problem solver and a critical thinker comfortable leveraging data and technology.

BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business.

Six Sigma training.

Demonstrated leadership experience with P&L or budget responsibility.

Experience successfully running a field services business

Familiarity with PLC and/or DCS control systems (particularly Rockwell), including I/O schemes, HMI, and common industrial communication methods.

Familiarity with electrical drawings including One-lines, wiring & schematics, physical drawings, equipment technical specifications, and engineering data sheets.

Fundamental knowledge of National Electrical Codes (NEC), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), UL-508, & IEEE 522 codes. Fluent with industrial site safety requirements.
