Role Overview:

Job Title: Data Ops Analysis Senior Specialist

Location: Rome

Smartworking: Possible for this position

Responsibilities:

Carry out and coordinate the activities and processes required to manage and deliver services at agreed levels to business users, customers, and stakeholders.

Maintain and improve business satisfaction through the effective and efficient delivery and support of agreed IT services.

Day-to-day support and maintenance of all IT services, restore service quickly in the event of incidents, and investigate the root cause of preventable incidents/problems.

Requirements:

Strong experience in system operations. Experience in team and projects managing.

Knowledge of configuration and troubleshooting on Linux RedHat and Microsoft Windows Server operating systems.

Containerized services administration.

Bash Scripting Programming

WebApache Server, IIS

Jboss and Oracle Weblogic application servers

Main protocols and network services

Good knowledge of ElasticSearch/OpenSearch

The following knowledge will be an advantage:

Kubernetes administration experience on critical services

Programming languages: python, bash, ansible

Professional Experience/Seniority:

A profile with experience in IT and in the IT processes (Monitoring, Incident, Change, Problem management) is considered preferable.

Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Computer Science or Technical certificate

Soft Skills:

Excellent propensity and ability in problem solving

Propensity for teamwork and stress management

Availability to work on call for accidents and night-time maintenance interventions

Flexibility, ability to quickly adapt to change, availability.

Enthusiasm, spirit of initiative, determination, reliability, curiosity for technology

Good knowledge of written and spoken English
