Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to join our home health care team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of high-quality nursing services to our patients in their homes. The Assistant Director of Nursing will work closely with the Director of Nursing to oversee clinical operations, manage nursing staff, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities

Clinical Leadership: Assist in overseeing the clinical operations of the home health nursing department to ensure the highest standards of patient care.

Staff Management: Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff, including conducting performance evaluations and providing ongoing training and development.

Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Patient Care Coordination: Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for patients.

Policy and Procedure Development: Assist in the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures to ensure best practices are followed.

Crisis Management: Respond to patient and family concerns and emergencies, providing support and solutions as needed.

Data Management: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, staffing, and quality assurance activities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or related field preferred.

Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
