We are looking for an FP&A Analyst to join our growing Finance team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with the FP&A team and work directly with Supply Chain stakeholders to create robust plans and forecasts, uncover understandings in our data – dissect performance metrics, identify trends, and provide actionable insights. What You’ll Do:

In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of departments, markets and skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:

Preparation and submission of budgets and forecasts to Primark’s parent company, ABF, following collaboration with the Supply Chain teams. You will ensure that inputs are delivered accurately and efficiently to all levels of the organisation.

Provide in-depth analysis on business performance, working closely with the FP&A managers and Supply Chain teams to emphasises the implications of the numbers and suggested actions.

Construct compelling pieces of analysis, outlining issues, opportunities and solutions overseeing development & ensuring output is insightful & actionable.

Ability to work closely with various key stakeholders within the business and bring knowledge from various sources to support with the insights, which will enhance decision-making and ensure positive outcomes.

Work collaboratively across different finance teams, particularly the financial reporting and financial business partnering teams and key stakeholders, Supply Chain.

Bring new ideas to the team and to the business using initiative and experience.

Support the FP&A Manager in preparing recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Provide Ad-hoc analysis as required by the business.

What You’ll Bring

Fully Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent)

Experience working in a fast-paced environment in Supply Chain/retail / FMCG.

High level of commercial expertise with the ability to see beyond the confines of the corporate Finance area.

The ability to produce relevant, coherent, succinct information analysis for all levels of management.

Previous experience with MS Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Effective planning and organisation skills, ability to plan and align tasks strategically schedule and work within agreed timescales.

Storytelling and communication skills and comfortable working cross-functionally throughout the business.

Ability to collect, process & perform data analyses with high skills in data interrogation across financial & non-financial data
