On behalf of our client, Personnel 2000 is seeking suitable candidates for a Corporate Controller post who will play an important role supporting our client to achieve its finance transformation strategy. The selected candidate will report to the Head of Finance Transformation and the Finance Director while working with a global team.

About the role

· Manage relationships with external partners, vendors, and consultants to support the finance technology and digital transformation initiatives, including the technology vendors and the implementation partners.

· Partner with the various internal teams and stakeholders to help manage the execution of the finance technology program and associate process change and standardisation initiatives

· Establish KPIs and a system of measurement to ensure the success and impact of finance technology and digital transformation initiatives, and provide regular updates to senior management

· Work with the Finance Director and the Head of Finance Operations to improve the operations and processes of the finance function to achieve greater efficiencies

· Confirm all regulatory and compliance requirements are met

· Review the control framework to ensure the effective running of the finance function

· Managing the integration of new service lines into the existing control environment and systems

· Conduct ad hoc financial analyses as required by Management.

· Initiate and lead any related ad hoc projects.

Education, Skills & Experience

· Demonstrable experience implementing a global finance system, ideally to include Oracle, and covering the stages of systems design, testing, implementation and optimisation.

· A recognised professional accounting designation (ACA/CA/ACCA).

· Big-4 training

· At least 10 years of relevant work experience in the financial services industry covering systems, operations and finance areas.

· Experience in meeting objectives in an international professional services firm or a global financial institution.

· In-depth technical knowledge and understanding of IFRS are essential.

· Ability to work to deadlines, show attention to detail and be able to plan and prioritize work effectively is a must.

· Proficiency in using MS office suite of applications with advanced Excel is necessary. Experience using Visio and Viewpoint would be advantageous.
