Mission: The mission of Catholic Charities is to provide for the needs of our communitythrough selfless service under the sign of love.

Summary:

Under the supervision of the RSS Employment Program Manager, the RSS Employment Case Manager is responsible for supporting program efforts to target Spanish speaking clients with eligibility assessment, enrollment and assistance with employment services including job placement, job readiness education, and follow-up of client services.

Position Responsibilities:

*Works with eligible client communities to provide enrollment and on boarding of RSS Employment services.

*Assist clients with job placement and upskilling opportunities through contacts with career education providers and community partners.

*Guide clients by providing opportunities for career pathway jobs and training programs.

*Assist employers through providing access to interpreting services for client job orientation or training.

*Provides direct service support and referrals as needed and work together with staff members in areas of housing, employment, job training, health and emergency in regard to client service plan and agency or program goals.

Adhering to safety training and protocols on a daily basis and taking precautionary measure to ensure the safety and well-being of self, others.

Responsible for protecting the confidentiality of any information or material obtained in the service with the organization to include but not limited to client names and information, services rendered to clients, donors names and gifts, internal and external investigations or results of any investigations, and financial information.

Adherence to the Code of Conduct and the Faith and Moral is mandatory.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education/Experience

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a social service or business-related field is preferred, or a minimum of one years’ experience in a social service-related field, with at least one year of experience in business administration, and/or human resources experience.

License and Credentials

Reliable transportation

Valid driver license

Valid vehicle insurance

Good driving record

Bilingual/Spanish Required

Minimum Knowledge and Skills:

Minimum of one years’ experience in Grants Contracts including Federal Grants, State Grants, Program Manual, and Operational Guidelines.

Extensive working knowledge of file documentation and Record keeping.

Experience with computer software and Microsoft office, E-mail and Internet (i.e., Microsoft software preferred and PDF);

A solid grasp of Non-profit Organization and Time Management.

Must be detail oriented, organized, self-motivated, work well independently and on a team.

Must have good written and verbal skills.

Must have good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Must be able to work in a culturally sensitive way with people of various backgrounds.

Must be able to maintain appropriate ethical boundaries and professional client relationship.

Must be at least 21 years old, and able to drive 12-15 passenger agency van when necessary.
